Comprehensive rehabilitation in Gracia

Located in a low level of the heart of Gracia, and originally being a dark and lugubrious space, the challenge of this project from the beginning was to fill it with light. Complying with a functional program of 3 rooms, a studio and three bathrooms, it is decided to equip it with a second level trying to avoid the traditional and opaque interior enclosures. One of the main elements is this loft, accessible through cantilevered iron staircases that, in addition to fulfilling its structural and distribution functions, adapt according to the area, transforming into a dining table, railing or part of the kitchen. Large-format exterior joinery, such as a pivoting iron door or wooden carpentry designed for the occasion are also essential elements.
